The Anchor Rope & Chain Kit is a premium, ready-to-use anchor rode combining high-quality short link galvanised chain with 8-plait nylon anchor rope, perfectly spliced together and supplied in a convenient tub with carry handle for easy storage and deployment. The rope and chain are professionally spliced to one another with a seamless, reliable join that feeds smoothly through a windlass gypsy without snagging or bunching — making it an ideal choice for vessels with a windlass as well as those deploying and retrieving by hand.
The 8-plait nylon construction features an increased twist level compared to standard 8-plait rope, delivering superior abrasion resistance, strength and handling characteristics across a wide range of anchoring conditions. The short link galvanised chain features seamless welding points for consistent link geometry and smooth, reliable performance through windlass gypsies and over bow rollers. Available in a range of rope and chain, length and gauge combinations to suit different vessels and anchoring requirements.
