Viper Spliced Anchor Rope & Chain Kit - 75m x 8mm

The Viper Spliced Anchor Rope & Chain Kit is a quality, pre-assembled anchor rode combining 75 metres of 3-strand nylon rope with 8 metres of 6mm short link galvanised chain, professionally spliced together and wound onto a single reel ready for immediate use. The 8mm rope and chain combination is suited to larger recreational vessels — centre consoles, walk-arounds and larger bay boats — operating in deeper coastal waters and exposed bays where the additional rope diameter, length and chain weight provide greater holding power and the reach needed to anchor safely in deeper anchorages. The kit is designed to fit the Viper Pro Series II 1000 Winch, and is also compatible with other electric and manual anchor winches where 6mm chain dimensions are appropriate.

The rope and chain are wound onto the reel together in a single continuous run — chain first, so that when the kit is loaded onto your winch drum, the chain comes off last and sits ready at the bow for connection to your swivel and anchor. No untangling, no separate assembly, no fuss.

Features

Premium 3-Strand 8mm Nylon Rope - Delivers robust strength and natural shock-absorbing elasticity suited to vessels in exposed coastal waters.

8mm Short Link Galvanised Chain - Improves anchor set and hold across a range of seabed conditions, with short links for smooth handling through winch gypsies and over bow rollers.

Professionally Spliced Connection - For a strong, reliable join that handles smoothly through a windlass without snagging or bunching.

Pre-Wound on a Single Reel - Kit is wound together onto one reel, chain first, so it loads directly onto your winch drum with the chain sitting ready at the bow for your swivel and anchor.

Viper Pro Series II 1000 Winch Compatible - Designed to fit the Viper Pro Series II 1000 Winch, and compatible with other electric and manual winches where 6mm chain dimensions are required.
