Galvanised Dee Shackle

The dee shackle is a rigging hardware staple found on vessels, trailers and dock setups around the world — and for good reason. The narrow, D-shaped body is specifically engineered for straight, in-line loads where the direction of pull is consistent and predictable, making it stronger and more efficient in those applications than the wider bow shackle.

Where a bow shackle is the better choice for multi-directional or off-axis loading, the dee shackle excels in applications like halyard and sheet terminations, block attachments, safety line connections and any rigging application where a clean, compact, in-line connection is required. The slim profile also makes it easier to pass through blocks, fairleads and other hardware where a wider bow shackle may not fit.

Available in a range of sizes to suit different applications and load requirements, these galvanised dee shackles are a reliable, cost-effective hardware essential for any vessel or dock setup.
