Polarised lenses block the glare produced by light reflecting off the water or bright deck surfaces which can create a distracting haze, a real issue when you're looking for marker buoys or checking sail trim.
Optically corrected, shatter-resistant cushion elements are laminated to both sides of the UV absorbers, followed by a unique scratch resistant coating applied to the outer surfaces.
Filter category 3 lenses allowing 8-18% light transmission and are useful in bright sunlight, driving and general purpose wear.
UV light absorbers, which block 100% of harmful UVA, UVB, and UVC radiation.
A quality optical lens is used to prevent vision distortion as cheaper lenses bend and misdirect light so that size, shapes and even distances can become distorted, leading to eye strain as you're forced to compensate.
