Marlin Spray Hood

When attached correctly over an inflated bladder, the hood is designed to reduce the inhalation of spray and protect the wearer’s face from water should they be awaiting rescue at sea.

The hi-vis yellow and reflective strip enables a higher chance of visibility and rescue.

Attaching to Lifejacket / Visual Safety Inspection

The Marlin spray hood comes with a small storage bag that can be attached to the lifejacket by threading the waistbelt through the loop on the back.

Alternatively, the hood can be removed from the storage bag entirely and tied to the oral tube located on the bladder.

Tie by using the lanyard and arrange it neatly, folded on top of the bladder, tucked inside the outer shell of the jacket.

Inspect the spray hood before use to make sure there are no tears in the fabric, reflective strip, loose stitching, or obstructed breathing holes in the clear shield.

Please dispose of it safely if the hood does not pass the visual safety inspection check.
