The Optimist Painter is a bright yellow floating line designed specifically for use on Optimist dinghies, providing a reliable, highly visible tow line for coach boats, rescue situations and general on-the-water handling.
The vivid yellow colour makes it easy to spot on the water at a glance, while the floating construction ensures it stays on the surface where it can be seen and grabbed quickly — and importantly, won't foul coach boat or rescue boat propellers during towing or recovery.
The spliced loop end makes attaching and detaching the line fast and straightforward, even for young sailors handling it themselves.
