Cable connects via a quick connect hand pin that is easy to remove and replace. Stainless steel cable outlet end minimises corrosion. Convenient 7/8" tilt tube mount nut as per ABYC/NMMA and BIA standards.
How to measure Cable Length
Length is measured from the helm insert nut (where the pin holds the cable) to the tilt tube attachment nut, plus 450mm.
Y + 450mm = cable length. Or measure A (centre of steering wheel to gunwale) plus B (dash to transom) plus C (gunwale to centre of transom). Cable length for transom, stringer and splashwell mount = A + B + C minus 150mm. Cable length for tilt tube mount = A + B + C plus 150mm.

280132, 280134, 280144, 280232, 280234, 280242, 280250 and 280251. Commonly known as Safe-T II, QC or Quick Connect, and 4.2nfb tilt or standard helms.
