South Pacific VS600 Stainless Steel Vertical Windlass
The VS600 windlass is a top-of-the-line model, with all parts above deck made of polished 316 stainless steel, including the shaft, base, chain cover and gypsy.
The metal gearbox, heavy-duty DC motor and base have been designed into one, with no separate parts for easy installation.
Suits boats from 18ft to 32ft or handle up to 30lb anchor.

The South Pacific VS600 is designed for boats 4.5–6 m (18–30 ft) and anchors up to 30 lb.
This 12 V DC windlass handles 8 mm short-link chain and 12–14 mm three-strand medium-lay rope, delivering a maximum pull of 320 kg (700 lb) with a typical working load of 45 kg (100 lb).
It provides retrieval speeds up to 25 m/min (84 ft/min) and pay-out speeds of 28 m/min (92 ft/min), with a maximum continuous working time of 15 minutes.
Features a 600 W permanent magnet motor with 80 % efficiency, high-performance spur gears (92–97 % efficiency), and a typical current draw of 25 A, the compact windlass measures 195 × 130 × 275 mm.
