International Micron One Antifouling

• Micron One is a high strength general purpose ablative antifouling based on cuprous oxide combined with zineb an effective organic biocide.

It can provide good protection in heavy fouling areas for periods of up to 12 - 18 months.

Special Features

• Not for use on Aluminium surfaces.
• Not for use on superyacht-sized vessels where immersion times and performance characteristics will be unlikely to meet customers’ requirements.
• In freshwater, the product will perform but will not work as a true ablative type product.
• Not for use on vessels that are trailered or hauled out between use.

Systems and Compatibility

• For use on fibreglass, epoxy, timber, steel substrates after suitable priming.
• Can be applied over numerous primer types (where available) such as Interprotect, Gelshield 200, Primocon, Primocon Pro and Epoxy Tiecoat.

Drying and overcoating/recoating information

• Must be immersed within 1 - 3 months depending on temperatures, refer to data sheet for more details.
• Unlike other antifoulings in the International range, Micron One should not be left out of the water for prolonged periods.
• Micron One can be applied over most other antifoulings after basic surface preparation. Not recommended to be applied over Micron 77, Micron 99 or similar type self-polishing copolymer products as its performance characteristics are unlikely to meet customer expectations.
